Hi, I’m Steph!

I created Chapters of Care in 2025 as a way to help teachers back away from burnout, restore rest through reading, and turn reluctant readers into regular readers—one perfect book at a time.

I’ve been teaching since 2018 and want to help you keep the joy and passion of teaching alive, while also finding the perfect books and strategies for your students when it comes to reading.

As you can see, books are a huge part of my life, and I believe everyone is a reader! For some students, they just haven’t found the right book yet. If you’re facing that dilemma, or struggling to find work/life balance as a teacher, you’re in the right place!

From Burnout to Booked Membership

  • This is a community based, self care focused membership where I help teachers find better work/life balance. We discuss things like self care vs. self soothing, boundaries at work and home, how to communicate with parents/admin while protecting your peace, as well as monthly topics that rotate!

  • Join for just $19.99/month each month. Program is open at the start of each quarter.

The Reading Room

  • This is a monthly book club for women who want to transform their female rage into power while becoming disgustingly overeducated. We become educated through both fiction and nonfiction while honoring the women who came before us and building a world we’re proud of.
