I’ve been teaching since 2018 and am overjoyed every day I step into the classroom! I know that teachers are leaving the profession every day, but I could never imagine that reality. Here in the “From Burnout to Booked” membership, we focus on realistic, sustainable self care that makes you excited to go to work each day and continue to fall in love with teaching!

My mission with this membership is to be a community focused space that helps you back away from burnout and restore yourself with reading, supporting teachers one book and self care moment at a time. You’ll get a chance to connect with other teachers from across the country and fill up your own cup rather than always filling up someone else’s!

This is a monthly membership that rotates with different themes, along with our core 4 modules that will always be accessible. Each month new content will be loaded and that content will remain open for the entire quarter as listed below.

So when school starts and content is posted in August, you’ll have access to that month until the end of October! There are certain months of the school year that are more hectic than others, and allowing extra access helps make sure you get through all of the value packed content in a timely manner!

Self Care

In this first module, we explore the different types of self care as well as the differences between true self care and self soothing. You’ll learn about my 5 pillars of self care as well as the 7 types of rest! This is going to dive into self care in a way you’ve never heard before!

We look over how to set boundaries, how to uphold them, and how to find time for self care during an incredibly hectic time. For reference, I’ve consistently worked a second job while teaching and go to grad school full time. Finding a way to balance it all and create healthy boundaries is something I’ve become an expert at!

You can better protect your time, energy, and mental health by systemizing more at school. These are tried and true tips and tricks that help me lessen my feelings of overwhelm when they pop up and allow me to make the best use of my time.

  • No worries! They will be recorded and shared within the Squarespace platform. Just keep in mind that they will be removed when we move into a new quarter. :)
